Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order utilizing the Oracle BPA on DoD ESI, a mandated Federal Supply Schedule, for the acquisition of Oracle Hierarchical Storage Manager.  This acquisition is limited to ESI vendors pusuant to DFARS 208.7402 which mandates that departments and agencies fulfill requirements for commercial software and related services in accordance with DoD ESI.

Lt Col Peter A. Sandness has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of the Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
