acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The NAICS code for this requirement is 722320 - Caterer. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing the below:

CATERED MEALS

The purpose of this requirement is to provide catered meals to Oregon Army National Guard (ORARNG) units and service members throughout the state. This requirement is designed to be flexible, responsive, and meet the ever-evolving needs of the government. The ORARNG intends to solicit for a multiple award delivery order contract. The desired outcome is to have multiple caterers on contract in order to place delivery orders for catered meals throughout the state of Oregon. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.

A catered meal is defined as: "a meal prepared in a commercial establishment for consumption there or delivered to a specific location for consumption or, prepared at the consumption site using caterer's portable equipment and subsistence supplies." (Reference - AR 30-22).

Catered meals are required to be prepared by the caterer contracted for the meals. Meals prepared by commercial establishments other than those of the caterer are not acceptable (for example serving Subway sandwiches, Pizza Hut pizza or chicken roasted from a local grocery. The locations and capabilities of the facilities vary.

At this time the Oregon Army National Guard is strictly attempting to identify interested contractors and their capabilities.

Interested firms are to complete pages 1-2 of the Sources Sought Information Request Form and return it via e- mail to [email protected] no later than 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on 14 November 2016.

At this time due to shortage in personnel and increased requirements, meetings with potential vendors will not be accepted. In the future and if these requirements are solicited for, the ORARNG may provide for an opportunity to meet with government officials prior to the proposal due date.
