The City of Suffolk has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purpose of obtaining responsive proposals from qualified planning and zoning consultants, multi-disciplinary firms or teams to undertake a rewriting of the applicable sections of the Unified Development Ordinances that regulates ???Cluster/Hamlet??? type development and Place Types. The new code sections must be easy to read, understandable by the public and enforceable by the City. The project is NOT a complete update to the existing ordinances.
