SOURCES SOUGHT:
Elmendorf AFB intends to award a Firm-Fixed price contract for Musical instrument repair shops for an Organ Tuning. The contractor shall furnish management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to perform the required services. The work will include but not limited to: make any necessary repairs to the organ at the same time of the tuning. Repairs shall be made to the recommended manufacture standards to bring the organ back to operating condition. Additionally, tune the organ to manufacture standards once a year. The vendor shall also complete a full mechanical system check for the entire organ. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for any information or inquiry. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. Firms submitting responses should indicate whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), women-owned, Hub-zone. Firms should indicate what Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) or NAICS code the firm utilizes for this type of requirement.
Period of performance will be a one-year basic period and four year options. Anticipated start date is 1 June 2011. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 811211 with a small business size standard of $7.0M.
The solicitation will be issued within a seven days on Federal Business Opportunities website http://fbo.gov; paper copies will not be available.
