THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for:

0001, Oscilloscope upgrade DPO/DSA72004 to DPO/DSA72004C, P/N: CONV72004AC; 1 ea
0002, Installation & Calibration, P/N: CONV72004AC IFC; 1 ea
0003, Extended 5 year warranty, P/N: DPO72004RC R5; 1 ea
0004, Extended Calibration for 5 years, P/N: DPO72004C C5; 1 ea

This is a Sole Source with Tektronix, Inc. IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Tektronix, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement. Due to the fact, other vendors can calibrate/service oscilloscopes but none indicated the ability to calibrate/se1vice this uniquely complex machine. Also, to the proprietary nature of the parts needed for upgrade and future repairs, Tektronix is the only manufacturer that can perform the services as described in this purchase request. The attached Sole Source Justification has been made available for review. No solicitation document exists at this time. This item/service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334515. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that Tektronix, Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
