THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT.

The Fort Hood Health Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Premier Shockwave Inc. a small business, under authority 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items for High Energy Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas, 76544 on or about 30 December 2022. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334510, and the size standard is 1,250 number of employees.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.  This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for High Energy Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT). The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.
