The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue a Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation that will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a requirement in Cooper County, Missouri. The work includes, but is not limited to, repair and modification to existing control structures (dikes), construction of adjacent bank protection, existing road improvements, grading, and excavation within Overton Chute. Work consists of transport and placement of new stone by land-based equipment. No dredging is allowed on the project. 

This requirement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside that will result in one firm-fixed-price award.

The NAICS Code for this requirement is 237990, Size Standard $39,500,000.

In accordance with FAR Part 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.

The estimate period of performance for completion of the awarded contract is 425 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

There will be a site visit planned for this solicitation. The details to attend the site visit will be included in the solicitation.
