AC-2 Rehabilitation & Bookstore Ceiling Replacement Campus Center Extension (BLDG 34A) The State University of New York at Albany will receive sealed bids for Project Number P-1042 titled AC- 2 Rehabilitation & Bookstore Ceiling Replacement Campus Center Extension (BLDG 34A) until 2:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the University at Albany, Service Building “A”, 1400 Washington Ave., Albany, NY 12222 Room 103, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. The University is completing the second phase of a renovation of the Campus Bookstore. The renovation includes: Removal of the existing ceiling and associated MEP Installation of New VAV boxes in the space. Installation of new ceiling and lighting Reconditioning of air handling unit AC-2 All work on this Contract shall start five (5) calendar days after the contract approval date of both parties, and be at substantially complete no later than August, 1st, 2023, and fully complete by December 31st, 2023. [email protected] A pre-bid conference and walk through will be held on Tuesday November 1, 2022 @ 9AM at the Campus Bookstore. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these electronic media (CD/DVD) documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $25, made payable to the University at Albany, is required. A digital copy of the documents can also be downloaded for $25 payable by credit card from www.camelotplanroom.com by logging into a user account and clicking the download option. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. All work shall be in accordance with construction drawings and specifications. Contractor must be able to secure a performance bond for the full amount of their bid and should be prepared to anticipate a value more than $ 2,400,000 for this project.
