Uptown Campus Podium Campus Center Roof Replacement The State University of New York at Albany will receive sealed bids for project number P-1190 titled Uptown Campus Podium Campus Center Roof Replacement until 2:30 p.m. local time on October 12, 2021 at the University at Albany, Service Building “A”, 1400 Washington Avenue, Albany NY 12222, room 103, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Masking Guidance, all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask or other face covering while inside any UAlbany owned, operated or leased building. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Removal and replacement of existing EPDM roofs, restoration of existing sky dome. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 250 calendar days, starting five (5) calendar days after the contract approval date of the New York State Comptroller. [email protected] A pre-bid conference will be held at the University at Albany, on site, at the east side entry of the Campus Center Building on September 21, 2021 at 10:00 am with all prospective bidders. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $25 (Twenty-five dollars), made payable the University at Albany of New York, is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. All work shall be in accordance with construction drawings and specifications. Contractor must be able to secure a performance bond for the full amount of their bid and should be prepared to anticipate a value in excess of $2,500,000 for this project.
