In order to address increasing needs, PennDOT is exploring future-focused sources of Work: funding for our highways and bridges that could better serve our communities and all Pennsylvania for generations to come. PennDOT will be undertaking several P3 type projects to aid in this with this initiative. These P3 projects could involve a wide range of project types ranging from bridges replacement to corridor expansion/improvements throughout the Commonwealth. The PAthways Major Bridges Initiative was approved by the P3 Transportation Board on November 12, 2020. This Engineering Agreement is for the Project Management Services for the PAthways Major Bridges Initiative. Consulting team will aid PennDOT in managing the PAthways Major Bridges Initiative project. The duties for this Engineering Agreement are, but not limited to: Project Management, Quality Management and Maintenance Management. The duties also include assisting PennDOT in the Design Reviews for the P3 projects. Design Reviews will be for Structural, Foundations, Highway, Geotechnical, Environmental, Utilities, H & H and others as directed by the Department. In addition, Construction Quality Management and Construction Inspection will be needed. Questions on this agreement will only be answered in ECMS after the advertisement has been published.
