THE CITY IS INVITING SEALED BIDS FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AT VARIOUS BURBANK WATER AND POWER (BWP) FACILITIES, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL TERMS AS STATED IN THE GENERAL CONDITIONS, BIDDER'S QUOTATION SHEETS, AND DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS ATTACHED HEREIN.

THE CITY OF BURBANK IS ACCEPTING BIDS UNTIL 2:00 PM, TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 2019, IN THE OFFICE OF THE PURCHASING MANAGER, AT WHICH TIME SAID BIDS WILL BE PUBLICLY OPENED IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS. THE OUTSIDE OF THE ENVELOPE ENCLOSING THE BID SHALL BE PLAINLY MARKED WITH VENDOR'S NAME AND ADDRESS AND BEAR THE WORDS "BID FOR PA 2185 - LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AT VARIOUS BWP FACILITIES, RFQ NO. 2019-034, 2:00 PM, TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 2019." ENVELOPE MUST BE MAILED TO: OR DELIVERED TO: PURCHASING MANAGER PURCHASING MANAGER CITY OF BURBANK CITY OF BURBANK P.O. BOX 6459 301 E OLIVE AVE., STE 305 BURBANK, CA 91510 BURBANK CA 91502 IF BIDDER IS USING A BOND FORM OTHER THAN THE CITY'S FORM PROVIDED, THE BID BOND MUST BE DELIVERED TO THE CITY NO LATER THAN FIVE (5) CITY WORKING DAYS BEFORE THE BID DUE DATE AND TIME. BIDS OR FORMS NOT RECEIVED BY THE DEADLINE WILL DEEM THE BIDDER NON-RESPONSIVE AND DISQUALIFY THE BIDDER. VENDOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUBMITTED WITH THEIR BID WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL DISQUALIFY THE BIDDER AND DEEM THEM NON-RESPONSIVE. SUMMARY OF ITEMS THAT MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE BID DUE DATE: 1) ALL BIDDER'S QUOTATION SHEETS (PAGES 18 - 31) 2) BIDDER'S BOND OR CASHIER'S CHECK (PAGE 27) IN THE AMOUNT OF NOT LESS THAN 10% SUMMARY OF ITEMS THAT MUST BE SUBMITTED OR OBTAINED UPON AWARD BY THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER: 1) CITY OF BURBANK PAYEE REGISTRATION FORM (IF NOT A CURRENT VENDOR) 2) INSURANCE CERTIFICATE 3) FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS ON CITY FORMS ANY BIDDER WHO HAS SUBMITTED A BID FOR THIS PROJECT MAY OBTAIN NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED AWARD BY PROVIDING WRITTEN REQUEST TO THE PURCHASING MANAGER. A NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED AWARD SHALL BE SENT TO THE REQUESTOR AND BE POSTED AT LEAST TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOURS PRIOR TO AWARDING THE CONTRACT OR PURCHASE ORDER.
