Preliminary Market Research for a Consolidated Contract for
Packing and Crating of Household Goods (HHG) in
the Countries Germany, United Kingdom and Italy
USAFE is considering to consolidate packing and crating of household goods in Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy into a single contract, as part of a strategic effort in these countries. Anticipated performance start is 1 Jan 2015. The goal is to maximize efficiencies realized as a result of a combined contract, while minimizing the degree of risk.
Anticipated places of performance are
- in Germany: Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC), including Landstuhl, Miesau, Pirmasens, Sembach, and Ramstein and Spangdahlem Air Bases
- in the United Kingdom: Royal Air Force Stations (RAF) Alconbury, St. Mawgan, Croughton, Menwith Hill, Fairford, Feltwell, Lakenheath and Mildenhall, and all Geographically Separated Units (GSUs)
- in Italy: Aviano Air Base
Attached is a preliminary market research questionnaire and draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), entitled "Performance Work Statement for Packing, Containerization and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments".
