The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to provide Packing and Moving Services for items specified in the Scope of Work from Sacramento to San Luis Obispo for the California Military Department where the service shall transpire over a 3-day period to be coordinated with the Contract Manager upon the Notice to Proceed given to the awarded contractor. The contract is slated to take place between late March 2024 through May 2024 in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Invitation for Bid may be downloaded on the Cal eProcure website at https://caleprocure.ca.gov/pages. The Prime Contractor shall possess either a valid 1) Motor Carrier Permit issued by the California DMV, OR 2) Household Mover permit issued by the Department of Consumer affairs, Bureau of Household Goods and Services. The Contractors Motor Carrier Permit or license issued by the DMV shall be in good standing from the time of the bid opening through the term of the contract. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory job walk on February 21, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at our warehouse located at 2814 B Street, building 4, Sacramento, CA, 95816 to be considered responsive and qualified to bid on this project. Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the job walk, attend the entire job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.
