This announcement constitutes a synopsis. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. The 6th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm-fixed priced contract with a 5 year ordering period. The proposed performance is 19 June 2017 to 19 June 2022. This requirement is being set-aside 100% for Small Businesses (SB). The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials for the preparation of personal property of military members and civilian employees for movement or drayage and related services as required by the Performance Work Statement. Services include packing, containerization, local drayage, delivery, unpacking, storage and related services for personal property shipments. Direct Procurement Method (DPM) contracts provide JPPSOs a comprehensive movement process for worldwide movement of small/larger shipments to specific overseas locations. The government reserves the right to award to a contract to other than the lowest price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488991 with a small business size standard of $27.5M. The successful contractor will be selected using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures, resulting in best value to the Government.
Anticipate award by 19 June 2017 with an anticipated start date of 19 July 2017.
