The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers - Wilmington District intends on procuring Palmer Bearings on a sole source basis to Palmer Products. These Palmer Bearings are direct replacements for the shaft cutlass bearings on the vessel Merritt. Changing to a different brand of bearing would create a need for extensive hull modifications on the vessel resulting in possibly months of lost working days and revenue for the Dredge Merritt. Interested parties may identify their interest in, and capability to respond to future requirements of this nature by submitting documentation indicating their capabilities and qualifications to the identified point of contact no later than 20 June 2016. The information received will be considered solely for informational purposes and the Government will not pay for such information received.
