NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 176 Mission Support Contracting Element, Kulis ANGB, Alaska intends to award a sole source  purchase order to Crye Precision LLC, 63 Flushing Avenue, Unit 252, Building 275, Suite 303, Brooklyn, NY 11205-1076 for the purchase of the following Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) items: 

-Crye Precision Combat Shirts Army Custom Multicam
-Cyre Precision Combat Pants Army Custom Multicam
-Cyre Precision Field Shirt Army Custom Multicam
-Cyre Precision Ball Cap Velcro Front Top Black Multicam
-Cyre Precision Combat Elbow Pad Style 02 Khaki
-Crye Precision Combat Knee Pad Style 03 Khaki
-Cyre Precision Field Pants Army Custom Mulitcam

The above PPE will be worn by Guardian Angel personnel assigned to the 212th RQS in support of OEF/OIF. The PPE must withstand the austere and demanding conditions of OEF/OIF and must be specifically designed to worn under body armor and constructed with high performance flame resistant Drifire torso and reinforced MIL-Spec NYCO ripstop sleeves designed for use with removable elbow and knee pads.

This purchase will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 12 May 2010. Firms that believe that they can provide similar required items must provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer. Reference solicitation #W91ZRU-10-T-003 when submitting a written inquiry on this requirement. This announcement constitutes the only written notice.
