Parkas/Coats must meet the following characteristics:
1. Multicam – OCP Preferred
2. Nylon Fabric with near-IR Signature (nIR) technology; to reduce the IR signature of the clothing and blend in more with surroundings
3. Durable water repellent (DWR) protection from rain and snow
4. Strong, light weight abrasion resistant fabric
5. Minimum 5.6 ounces (160 grams) of insulation
6. Rip-stop nylon liner similar in color to match outer fabric
7. Extra flap in the back of the jacket to allow for more freedom of movement (unlike normal coats)
8. Large Nylon body zippers with pull tabs and webbing extenders
9. Snap securing storm flaps over zippers
10. Removable hood and collar
11. Front pockets for hand warming or additional item capacity
12. Arm attached pockets for additional storage
13. Adjustable cuffs
14. Rank tab on zipper storm flap
15. Hook and loop strips for name tapes
16. Interior jacket pockets for additional storage
17. Drawstring in waist area
18. Sizes should be XS to 2XL
Cold Weather Bibs/Pants should meet the following:
1. Multicam – OCP Preferred
2. Nylon Fabric with near-IR Signature (nIR) technology; to reduce the IR signature of the clothing and blend in more with surroundings
3. Durable water repellent (DWR) protection from rain and snow
4. Strong, light weight abrasion resistant fabric
5. Minimum 5.6 ounces (160 grams) of insulation
6. Rip-stop nylon liner similar in color to match outer fabric
7. Large nylon leg zippers with pull tabs and webbing extenders
8. Nylon Coverall or suspender type securing for shoulders
9. Quick-disconnect buckles or latches for shoulder securing
10. Cargo pockets attached at knee or thigh
11. Cargo pocket near chest or waist (preferred, if available)
12. Snap-securing storm flaps over zippers and pockets
13. Zippable or snap-securing pockets in locations similar to normal pants (sides and back)
14. Drawstring in waist and ankle area (zippers may prevent ankle drawstrings)
15. Sizes should be XS-short to 2XL-long
