This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation will be competed as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.  The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Coastal Ecology Team, Wetlands and Coastal Ecology Branch at Vicksburg, MS has a requirement for the following:

The North American Industry Classification System Code for this procurement is 336612 (Boat Building) with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. 

In accordance with the attached Description of Requirement (Attachment 01), an award for this acquisition will be provided to the vendor whose quote is the Lowest Priced of those determined to be Technically Qualified.  

FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999)

(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:

1)  Technical - Providing information that the items proposed meet the specifications as defined in Attachment 01

2)  Price

The vendor must submit the following so the Government can evaluate the offeror’s technical acceptability:

 

1)  Sufficient information to determine that the items proposed meet the specifications as defined in Attachment 01

2)  Must include a completed Quote Submission Form (Attachment 02).
