Copper Basin OHV Parking Lot and Site Road Repaving ------ The intent of the contract is to provide for the construction and completion of the work described. Furnish labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract. ------- Project Identification: - Copper Basin OHV Parking Lot and Site Road Rehabilitation. Project Location: Project is located approximately 31.2 miles south of Lake Havasu City, AZ. This project is being performed for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in California, on the National System of Federal Lands acquired and administered by the Lake Havasu Field Office within the Colorado River District. Copper Basin OHV Site is located within the Parker Strip Recreation Area on the California side of the Colorado River in California Congressional District 8. The site is administered, managed and operated by the BLM Arizona Lake Havasu Field Office. Scope: The work will consists of the following: This proposed project includes a parking lot and site road pavement rehabilitation. The site road construction includes but is not limited to 6 ¿inch pulverizing of existing site road pavement in place, finish grading and compaction. The asphalt paving application will be of a Type 2B double penetrating chip seal with uncoated chips, with a final fog seal and applicable roadway markings. The existing parking lot, includes a crack fill seal with a nominal double chip and fog seal, parking lot stripping and applicable markings.
