Nature and Description of Action: HUD-OIG is currently utilizing Landmark Parking INC., to meet their parking needs at 100 South Gay Street, Baltimore, MD 21202 and is in need of continued service for 2009 in order to ensure adequate parking needs are met. The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of HUD-OIG has a requirement for seventeen (17) parking spaces for the period October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009. The contractor shall provide indoor parking spaces that have twenty-four hour, seven days a week access, in and out privileges and self-parking. The contractor will not leave the vehicles unsecured and will not have access to vehicle keys. The parking boundaries required are within a one-block radius of 103 S. No solicitation document is available. The Bureau of Public Debt will consider all affirmative responses received no later than 4 business days after publication of this notice.
Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show how it would be advantageous to the government to switch providers for this requirement. A request for more information will not be considered an affirmative response.
If no affirmative written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all the requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government, we intend to negotiate a sole-source award to Landmark Parking, INC.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The intended period of performance for this requirement is 12 months from Date of Award.
