The Bureau of Engraving and Printing intends to place an order with KBA Giori North America for eight (8) SUCKER TRANSPORT PART NO. M8134481 WHICH IS A REPAIR PART FOR THE SUPER ORLOF PRESS, forty (40) NOZZLE PT. NO. 66820.02 FOR BALDWIN OXY-DRY BLANKET WASH SYSTEM. USED ON THE SUPER SIMULTAN 212 PRESS, two (2) MODULE COMPLETE FOR BLANKET CYLINDERS PART NO. GRP20894G SUPER ORLOF THERMOREGULATION PART, and two (2) MODULE COMPLETE FOR DUCT ROLLERS PART NUMBER GRP20893G SUPER ORLOF THERMOREGULATION PART. These parts are sole source and the material is an integral part of the Super Orlof Intaglio Presses and Super Simultan 212 Presses. These items are proprietary in nature to KBA. Use of inferior products in this application would be detrimental to the bureau's mission. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501. The resulting purchase order shall not exceed the simplified purchase threshold. This procurement is for propriety materials created exclusively for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
