The National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center is conducting a market survey/sources sought to help determine the availability of small, veteran-owned small businesses, service disabled veteran-owned small businesses and/or HUBZONE small business capable of serving the needs mentioned below. This market survey/sources sought announcement is not a request for proposals and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this market survey.
The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center has a requirement to obtain surveys from patients and other NIH Institutes and Centers on a myriad of issues including but not limited to subject demographics, respect for patients values, preferences and expressed needs, coordination of care, information and education, physical and emotional comfort, involvement of family and friends, continuity and transition, access, clinical research participation, hospital environment and communication with referring physicians. Analysis of these surveys will allow the Clinical Center to identify and focus its attention on the services and processes that need improvement.
These surveys are fielded continually. It is the intent of the government to procure services for 9 month base year and a 9 month option year.
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541618 size standard is $14.0 million.
