The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC) intends to award a fixed price purchase order to RF Technologies DUNS# 185279130 on a sole source basis to procure:

Description of Requirement: 

Purpose:

This Statement of Work pertains to the procurement of a new security system for the Neuroscience Inpatient, 7SW.

The upgraded RF Technologies Safe Place Patient Security System offer discreet and lightweight mobile transmitters by which patients with a flight or wonder risk can be safely monitored. This system supports patient safety by providing both audible and visual notifications as well as an automatic door locking system when triggered enabling staff to quickly respond to patient needs.

Contractor Requirements:

The RF Technologies Safe Place Patient Security System will provide the following resources to nurses providing care to Clinical Center patients:

  • A central computer monitoring  station providing  secure monitoring  24 hours per day, seven day a week
  • Ability to pair  alerts to Clinical Center approved hand-held  mobile  device
  • Tamper resistant  transmitters preventing  inadvertent device removal
  • Upgraded clinical resource
  • Periodic electronic updates regarding
  • Periodic electronic updates regarding site revisions and maintenance
  • Technical assistance for device problems or troubleshooting

This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b). Interested concerns capable of providing the same or similar products or services as described in this notice may submit a capability statement outlining their capabilities. Capability Statements must be received within the time set forth in this synopsis to be considered by the Government. A determination to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
