The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, intends to procure production and delivery of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for the MQ-8B Fire Scout Vertical Take-Off and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to perform maintenance on the MQ-8B rotors. PSE includes a maximum of 22 each Tool, Rigging-Tail Rotor (P/N 269T9204-005, NSN 1615-01-566-8232); a maximum of 21 each Spanner Wrench, Tail Rotor Driveshaft (P/N 269T9211-003, NSN 4920-01-642-7244) and Wrench, Spline Fitting (P/N 269T9281, NSN 5120-01-487-7375); a maximum of 12 each Spanner Wrench, Tail Rotor Driveshaft-Alt (P/N 269T9211-005, NSN 5210-01-566-3382); a maximum of 11 each Belt Drive Alignment Fixture (P/N 269T3303, NSN 4920-01-488-3926); a maximum of nine (9) each Wrench, 269A1340 Nut Installation (P/N 269T9231, NSN 5120-01-488-3930); and a maximum of seven (7) each Gage, Pitch Link (P/N 269T1338-11, NSN 5220-01-579-7387), Holding Tool, Brake Disk (P/N 269T3319-3, NSN 5110-01-566-5081), Micrometer, Lead-Lag Bolt Elongation (P/N 269T9259, NSN 5210-01-488-3938), Rigging Block, Main Rotor (P/N 269T9272-7, NSN 4920-01-565-9561), Tube, M/R Dr Shaft & Thrust Brg Removal (P/N 269T9278, NSN 5120-01-487-6106), Micrometer, Flapping Hinge Bolt Elongation (P/N 269T9310, NSN 5210-01-487-7395) and Wrench, Mr Thrust Nut (P/N 269T9312, NSN 5120-01-488-8311).

This will be a sole source procurement with Red Barn Machine, (CAGE 0E1A0). The original equipment manufacturer is Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. Red Barn Machine was given authorization to manufacture the PSE items cited herein. Red Barn Machine is the only known source for these tools that are required to perform maintenance and repair on the MQ-8B rotors.  The Government does not own the required technical data or software.  This acquisition is being pursued under authority of 41 U.S.C 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded.  A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
