Los Angeles Job Corps intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for evaluated Firm Fixed Price subcontract for non personal Pest Control Services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and other item and services necessaty to perfom pest control at six (6) different  locations.  The pest control company must have business license in the State of California.

The YWCA of Greater Los Angeles which operates the Los Angeles Job Corps Center (LAJCC) under contract with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration is requesting bids to provide Pest Control Services.

The IFB will be available on December 9, 2011.  The IFB closing date is scheduled to be December 27, 2011.  Actual dates will be identified in the IFB.

Interested offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).

Offerors can register via the CCR internet site at https://www.uscontractorregistration.com/ or by contacting the CCR information center at 1-866-606-8220.  Interested parties are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at https://orca.bpn.gov/

The award will be based on a lowest cost/price bid.

The term of the agreement will have a 2-year base period, plus (3) options for one (1) year each.

This notice is not considered to be a commitment by the LAJCC pay for the information solicited; no basis for claim against LAJCC shall arise as a result from a response to this notice or use of the information provided.
