The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source to ADS. The Government anticipates a single Purchase Order award for uniform apparel for the incoming Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) officer class, scheduled to arrive in mid-July 2014. Due to the urgency of the situation, there is insufficient time to conduct even a limited competition and expect delivery by the July 10 deadline.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice no later than 11:59 a.m. ET, Thursday, June 12, 2014 by email to [email protected].

All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the sole source award. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 448190 (Other Clothing Stores). The size standard is $19M.
