The Board is soliciting Proposals for 75% activity Phosphoric Acid for use in the water treatment process. Denver Water has not been required to use Phosphoric Acid in its treatment process, but may be required to use it by regulation. If required, Denver Water would begin using Phosphoric Acid in early March 2020. Denver Water would require the awarded Contractor to meet this delivery deadline of late February/early March 2020. If not required to feed, Denver Water would likely still award to a Contractor in case corrosivity and/or regulations change.
