URS, a prime contractor for the U.S. Government, is conducting market research to identify available methods for removing nuisance birds from the site. The intent is to identify a viable method of removing existing birds and dissuading others birds frm inhabiting the vacated locations.

Proposed methods received by email will be reviewed by internal departments to include, but not be limited to: Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Site Services, Maintenance, and Security.

If a method is determined to be an acceptable means of disbursing the birds, a solicitation will be prepared and posted on FBO.gov and those individuals that submitted proposed methods would be notified by email of the existence and location of the solicitation when and if it is issued.

We have attempted to remove nests under construction, put screens over likely nesting locations, used hanging deterrents, trapping, and other defensive measures without success.

Job site will be on a military installation.
