- 15 each K700 MailStation mailing systems with 5-lb scales located at various OCC offices (small systems)
- 3 each DM550 mailing systems with WOW and 70/150-lb scales located at various OCC offices (large system)
-1 each DM900 mailing system with WOW and 70/150-lb scale located at OCC HQ (large system)
using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). The period of peformance for this maintenance will be 10/01/2013 - 09/30/2014. Any responses received as a result of this notice, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than 2:00 PM ET on July 15, 2013. Responses shall be submitted to [email protected]; Attention: SPottmeyer / BCooper.
Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information:
1. The name of your company;
2. Company DUNS No.;
3. POC name and contact information;
4. The specific service(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the services to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing a renewal for the specific services mentioned above; and,
5. A description of the service(s) and your companies overall capabilities.
It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your services(s) are capable of providing the same services that exists with the Pitney Bowes Postage Meter Rental and Maintenance mentioned above. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having services cable of meeting the Government's needs.
A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
