REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Plumber  

The South Bronx Job Corps Academy is a Federally Funded Vocational and Educational Training Program that services youth between the ages of 16 and 24 in a residential setting.  The program operates year round with approximately 200 residential and 100 non-residential trainees.  The program is operated by ResCare, Inc. for the United States Department of Labor.

The South Bronx Job Corps Academy is soliciting Bids fro a plumber   All interested bidders need to answer the  Scope of Work, including specifications and a fully broken down cost.

DESIGN BUILD SCOPE OF WORK

On call Plumber 24 hours/ 7 days  for all three bulidings 

 All interested bidders must attend a walk thru on Monday Sepetmebr 27, 2010 at 10am

REQUIREMENTS

•·         Must be in compliance with all Local, State and Federal Guidelines and Regulations

•·         Work to be accomplished in safe and efficient manner with minimal or no disruption or endangerment to trainees and / or staff.

•·         Must provide a copy of current licensure and insurance.

LENGTH OF AGREEMENT

                Contractor must provide scope of work and time frame in which work is to be completed. Contract will be from September 30,2010 to September 28,2011 with the option of extending  

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ACCEPTANCE

•·         Contractor must acknowledge by signature that they meet all Federal, State, Local and OSHA regulations and that all specifications terms and conditions set forth are acceptable.

•·         Bidders must submit their proposal in a sealed envelope by 5 p.m. close of business on September 29, 2010 to the attention of Vivian Lopez, Purchasing Agent
