PROJECT DESCRIPTION.
This project involves the following work:
1. Remove the existing Hamilton EZ 30 FT modular bridge and set aside for reuse.
2. Remove and dispose of the existing log culvert which is underneath the Hamilton Bridge. The logs will be placed in a designated waste area. All hardware and cables shall be disposed of off federal land.
3. Furnish and install sills and backwalls for the Hamilton Bridge. Haul and place material to accomplish a standard spread footing.
4. Replace the Hamilton Bridge to the lines and grades shown on the drawings.
5. Shape the exiting road bed to lines and grades shown on the drawings.

Prospective bidders are expected to obtain the solicitation from the Internet.
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 5.2-Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions, Paragraph 5.202 Exceptions, Subparagraph (13) a synopsis will not be issued.
This proposed contract action meets the criteria in that:
1. The amount is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold.
2. The notice of proposed contract action through Federal Business Opportunities website.
