This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is CT2345-24 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-01. The North American Industry Classification System code is 314999.  UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a three (3) year fixed requirements type contract with one (1) base year and two (2) one-year options (if exercised), and with an Economic Price Adjustment contract for the following commercial item(s): Polyester Batting for use in the production of Helmet Flyer Bags for DoD. This is for delivery to our plant located in Terre Haute, IN.
