The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Dallas, TX 75247, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106 to Lafayette Instrument Company, 3700 Sagamore Parkway North, Lafayette, IN 47904-1066. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  The Lafayette Instrument Company is the only known source capable of meeting the Governments requirements for the polygraph equipment needed. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 13. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
