This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is for a market survey only; therefore, no requirement exists so do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC has been tasked to identify sources and market conditions for the purchase of a hand held, all-in-one, portable VO2 analyzer. The proposed project will be a Firm-Fixed Priced contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of both the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and the Large Business Community, to compete and perform a Firm-Fixed Price contract to provide a portable VO2 analyzer. All responses received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. - Displays testing results without a computer
- Capable of printing test results without a separate printer
- Calculates VO2max and sub-max VO2
- Calculates Training Zones
- Able to provide a complete Fitness Assessment
- Able to provide a complete Exercise Prescription
- Contains an internal memory to store results for upload to computer software
- Contains software program for further assessments and management of data
