The Western Area Power Administration Sierra Nevada Region Folsom, CA, intends to Positron Inc. on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to procure materials, supplies, tools, labor, management, supervision, and travel, required to supply Positron High Voltage Live Line Tester.   The NAICS code is 333923 Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail System Manufacturing Mechanical with Size standards in number of employees of 1250.  Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed above for WAPA may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
