The AFTC Installation Contracting Division/PZIOAC, Eglin AFB FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for a Globus Posterior Cervical Fusion and Anterior Corpectomy with fusion surgical set under the authority of FAR 13.106(a)(1) to Globus Medical, 2560 General Armistead Avenue Audubon, PA 19403.  Anticipated award date is 22 January 2014.  This requirement is for: 

CLIN 0001:  Globus Posterior Cervical Fusion and Anterior Corpectomy with fusion surgical set: Globus Xtend Cervical Plate, Cervical Awl, Cross Connector, Drill Bit, Screws, Caps, Tap, Rod, and Globus Xpand Corpectomy Cage.

These items must be delivered to: 96 MDG, EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 no later than 24 January 2014 on an FOB Destination basis.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 339113, small business size standard:  500 employees.  This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes, however all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.  The government will consider all responses received within 15 days of publication.  A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.  Questions shall be submitted electronically to [email protected]
