The U.S. Embassy in Oman seeks a competent contractor to perform Janitorial services, including furnishing all labor, material, equipment and services, at the U.S. Embassy in Muscat, Oman.  Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.  The Embassy of the United States in Muscat Oman will launch the solicitation on the website ( https://om.usembassy.gov/contracting-opportunities-at-embassy/ ) when it is available.  The anticipated performance period is for a Base year with Four one-year periods, if exercised by the Government.  All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.  The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest-priced technically-acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. Interested offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov  prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.  The resultant contract will be a Firm fixed type contract.  Electronic offers or proposals will be accepted.
