RECOVERY: This project consists of the purchase and delivery of four (4) Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Trail Bridges with the following dimensions: one (1) - 25' X 54” X 9” and three (3) – 35’ X 54” X 9”. The specifications are as follows: 85 psf loading Handrail Height: 54” or 42” Horizontal Midrails with maximum 9” opening A307 galvanized steel bolts Standard green color Straight or sloped ends Galvanized mounting clips 3” x 12” #2 pressure treated southern yellow pine decking Urethane and fire resistance coating shall be added when requested A professional Engineer certification must be provided with these bridges. The bridges must be shipped as light weight component parts that can be carried into remote sites and assembled by hand. Material must sustain wet weather conditions and not rust or rot. The minimum thickness of the FRP shall be .25 inches for the Square-tube members (closed type shape), wide-flanged beams, channel sections, and angles (open type shapes), and the standard plate.
