Request for Itemized Lump Sum Bids to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services, and perform operations required for, and reasonably incidental to provide a packaged standby diesel engine generator system. The generator size requirement is for 500 kW. References to 625kVA and 755-762 BHP in Section 26_32_14 1.03 A 1 are approximate conversions. Each bidder shall provide a proposed itemized bid breakdown. The total sum of all extended line items, including the bid alternate shall be equal to the Lump Sum Base Bid. The lowest bid shall be determined as the sum of all extended line items, including the bid alternate. Please note that overhead and general conditions, as well as all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work noted within the description shall be distributed amongst the applicable line items. As noted in Section 011100 – Summary of Work, Work Sequence and Schedule, Item D, “Supplier shall be prepared to deliver the equipment to a location that requires off-road vehicle access through dirt and sand roads and uneven surfaces. Supplier shall make themselves aware of the delivery location prior to the time of bid.” Submission Requirements:(1) The bidder must enter pricing in the electronic bid form for any and all line items or a lump sum bid amount, as required. The pricing provided in the electronic bid form will be the only valid bid pricing for determination of low bid. (2) In addition, the bidder must attach a pdf file(s) to the electronic bid submission containing all of the completed and signed Bid Documents including bidder's experience, compliance with conflict of interest. The bidder is solely responsible for on time submission of their electronic bid. The Department will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an ebid confirmation number with a time stamp form the Bid Management System indicating that bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder's sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids.
