The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Rees Scientific, 1007 Whitehead RD Ext., Trenton, NJ 08638. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.

The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to Rees Scientific, 1007 Whitehead RD Ext., Trenton, NJ 08638 for the purchase upgrading sortware to C. Presidio-3.0. and removing/terminating and installing or repairing existing thermos wiring stops. Rees Scientific is the only software and firmware that meets DON's requirements.
Based on market research conducted, and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided by Rees Scientific, as they are the sole manufacturing authority and holds all software data, machinery and processes for production of this equipment.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 5:00 Pm EST, June 3, 2016, by email to the attention of Sherri Roche, Contract Specialist, at [email protected].
