The government (AFLCMC/PZIBB) intends to purchase a Pressure Sensitive Paint Data Acquisition System measuring capable of measuring intensity from two different wavelengths to determine the partial pressure of oxygen at the paint surface when using binary pressure sensitivity paint. This device will be used at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) at Wright-Patterson AFB. This notice is posted for the purpose of publicizing a sole source award. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
