On 4 - 14 May 2020, the Unitied States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) will host a Tech Sprint in collaboration with its Partner Intermediary, SOFWERX, in order to integrate various technologies into its Hyper Enabled Operator (HEO) system architecture.
Interested parties may submit their technologies for evaluation to SOFWERX. A Government panel will evaluate all submissions, and make up to 15 awards in the amount of $15,000.00 per submission for participation in the Tech Sprint in Tampa, Florida.
Those who successfuly integrate their technologies during the Tech Sprint will also be awarded entrance to the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) from 11 - 14 May in Tampa, FL where they will have the opportunity to showcase their technology during the conference.

Prize awards will be issued under the authority of 10 USC 2374a - Prizes for advanced technology achievements. This announcement and event is considered use of competitive procedures for the purposes of 10 USC 2304, and the Government may directly pursue follow-on contract opportunities with selected participants as a result of this effort.
Any future contract opportunities as a result of this effort may also be pursued under the authority of 10 USC 2371, 10 USC 2371b, 10 USC 2373.
Where contracts entered into as a result of this effort are under 10 USC 2371b, Authority of the Department of Defense to carry out certain prototype projects, the Government may pursue a follow-on production contract or agreement non-competitively with a company as long as the sucess criteria for the prototype agreement relevant to the production effort are sucessfully met in accordance with this statute.
