The General Services Administration (GSA) Greater Southwest Region 7, Albuquerque, New Mexico has a requirement for the renovation of the north 1/3 of the 5th floor of the Old Federal Courthouse, 421 Gold Ave. SW, Albuquerque, New Mexico.  The area of work is approximately 2,520 Sq. Ft. and includes but is not limited to demolition, and build-out of the work area including steel stud framed walls, finished, and associated mechanical, electrical, and fire protective systems.  This contract opportunity is a total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Registration is required on the System for Award Management (SAM online at www.sam.gov) website. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. All eligible and responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.

To obtain a copy of the solicitation, firms must request the solicitation by submitting a one page letter on company letterhead.  This letter shall include the firm's e-mail address, full mailing address, and the primary point of contact.  Send the letter to [email protected] & [email protected].  GSA retains the right to publish and distribute the list of offerors to other interested parties (i.e., subcontractors, etc.).  Interested parties should refer to PBS Order 3490.1A, Document Security for Sensitive but Unclassified Building Information, which outlines the document security policy. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about March 11, 2014.  The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. Award will be made based upon low price technically acceptable in accordance with FAR Part 15.101-2 and the terms in the solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled and announced in the solicitation.
