BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY 2022

21-24 March 2022

The Professional Aerospace Contractors Association (PACA) of New Mexico will host its 34th BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY, March 21 – 24, 2022, at Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Due to the extended shutdowns imposed for COVID, PACA was required to postpone our annual BFI until March 2022.  The 2022 BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY offers three full days of comprehensive presentations and an exceptional opportunity to meet with industry and government customers face-to-face.  This unique event draws more than 500 industry and government representatives annually.  The presentations feature business opportunities for 2022 and beyond and include descriptions of missions; program objectives and plans; and, most importantly, identify contracting opportunities and the technical point of contact.  This year’s event will begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, 21 March 2022 with a networking social. The first full day begins at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, 22 March, with a networking breakfast.  The formal proceedings will begin promptly at 8 a.m.  Topics will include:

  • Research and development
  • Test and evaluation
  • Technical and analytical support
  • Operations and maintenance
  • Systems procurement

The following organizations have been invited to present:

  • Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) (all directorates)
  • Space Force Space and Missile Systems Center Directorates
  • Operationally Responsive Space Office (ORS)
  • Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC)
  • PEO for Strategic Systems
  • Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC)
  • AF Global Strike Command agencies
  • Sandia National Laboratories (SNL)
  • Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL)
  • Department of Energy (DOE)
  • High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office (HEL-JTO)
  • National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)
  • White Sands Missile Range (WSMR)
  • Many others, too!

PACA’s BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY traditionally features distinguished senior leaders from the military services and government as keynote and guest speakers.  Speaker information, updated event information, registration fee schedule, draft program agenda and online registration are available at pacanm.org/briefing-for-industry.  It is our intent to open registration as of 1 December 2021.  Attendees are encouraged to register early to capitalize on our discounted registration fees.  The PACA site will be updated as we progress towards our March event. Starting in January we will begin posting COVID protocols and mandates so stay tuned for updates on a regular basis.

Special Interest Item:  A Space TIM is currently being planned to coincide with the PACA/BFI at the Hotel Albuquerque and Kirtland AFB.  The two events are separate and distinct with respective goals and thrusts.

All non-government attendees are required to be U.S. citizens and to provide a copy of their organization’s DD2345, “Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement”, prior to being confirmed for the conference.  NOTE:  Before a DD2345 will be issued to a non-government entity, the entity must have completed a CMMC self-assessment and have the results entered in SPRS. Details regarding acquiring and submitting a DD2345 are available on the BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY website.
