This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-63, Effective December 10, 2012. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The Request for Proposal number is 13-P-0738130866 and shall be referenced on all proposals. The Government contemplates award of a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Firm Fixed Price supplies to a single Contractor for a base year plus one (1) 1-year option period fot he exact items listed below.

The FBI cannot accept other than the exact brand name items listed below. The 
Promega PowerPlex kits are needed for the validation to expand the CODIS core loci prject. The reagents and supplies will be used to validate the DNA processsing of casework evidence, missing persons cases, and convicted offender sameples. These items will also be used by other units with the FBI laboratory for internal validation projects in support of the FBI.

Requirements:
1. The items listed below are anticipated to be the primary supplies necessary to perform the contract. Other supplies may be added if applicable and necessary under the contract.
2. All unit prices shall include the cost of shipping.
3. Delivery: 3 days after receipt of order.
4. As a part of their proposal the Offeror shall provide pricing for items shown below for the base year and Option Year 1.

Minimum and Maximum Amounts, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ)
In accordance with FAR 52.216-22. The Government shall order the minimum under this contract, which is $190,000. The cumulative amount of all delivery orders shall not exceed $500,000.00 for the entire period of performance of the contract (including options, if exercised).
