The project site is within an undeveloped parcel located west of Blossom Avenue, south of Chyrl Way and along the Laurel Creek. The general scope is the construction of a park that includes a community garden. The project improvements include, but are not limited to, the following: angled asphalt parking spaces, ADA-compliant curb ramp, hard surface walk paths, fencing and gates, privacy screens, play structures, recreation equipment, picnic tables, benches, shade structures, landscaping and irrigation, fountain and pool, shed, planters, and pergola, as well as four (4) additive alternate bid items. For bonding purposes, the Engineers Estimate is $1,500,000.
