This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote Number 70Z080-21-Q-P45K1900. This number is for tracking purposes only. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 336611. Per FAR 6.302-1, the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center located in Norfolk, Virginia. The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center intends on awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract.
Due to the requirement being services for OEM MTU America equipment, it is not anticipated by the Contracting Officer that the number of responses to this RFQ will provide ample responses to warrant a Small Business Set-A-Side, therefore in accordance with FAR 19.502-2(a) this IS NOT A Small Business set aside.
THE UNITED STATED COAST GUARD SURFACE FORCE LOGISTICS CENTER REQUEST THE CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE PRICING FOR THE FOLLOWING OEM SERVICE.
MTU AMERICA AUTHORIZED TECHNICIAN ONLY. See Schedule B below. Vendor shall be an authorized MTU America Dealer. Vender shall provide verification documentation from OEM Manufacturer (MTU America). Authorized MTU certified repair required due to engine unique design and function
