#1 Power Take Generator was on line and operating normally and inadvertently shutdown during vessel departure. Shipâs force conducted troubleshooting and was able to restart unit which stayed on line for an additional 30 minutes. Restart was possible with PCB G103.C57 being removed and âjiggledâ several times. Possible cause of PTO shutdown may be card rail which holds PCB G103.C57 is damaged, deformed or has broken connections not visible which is interrupting +/- 15VDC potential generating PTO shutdown. Voltage checks of Card Rail sockets confirm correct +/- 15 VDC voltages but when card is plugged in, no indicator lights illuminate on any PCBâs throughout card rack. C57 PCB is satisfactory.
