Sealed bids for the Public Works New Street Department Facility - Bid No.: 023-018 will be received by the City of Prattville at City Hall, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, until 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2023, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location. The principal items of work are approximate as follows: 3,875 SF (+/-) Building & Site Work The entire project shall be completed in 180 consecutive calendar days. To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete original proposals made available by the owner. Bid documents (including plans and proposals) are available through the digital plan room at Alabama Graphics, www.algraphicplanroom.com. Bid documents are on file at Prattville City Hall Annex, 102 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. No bid documents will be distributed later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids. Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid filed in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.
