This is a market survey (sources sought) to determine the availability for the pulaski tool.  Market survey is due 9/20/10 at 4:30 PM CST.  A solicitation will be posted at www.fbo.gov within the next few months.  The pulaski tool, NSN 5120-00-293-3467 is used primarily by the US Forest Service and must be manufactured iaw Forest Service Specification 5100-355E dated April 26, 2000 and Drawing MEDC 632 Revision F, dated April 12, 2000.  First article samples will be required.  Please review the item purchase description (IPD) that is attached to the market survey.  The Forest Service Specification and MEDC drawing is available at http://www.fs.fed.us/t-d/programs/fire/specs.htm.  All questions should be directed via email to [email protected].
